hey, here's four rooms that are ostensibly about single use pressure plates on a beach themed level.

It was my contest entry for the 3.0 elemental showcase, so it's a TCB hold. You can play it in TCB if you want to not have unlimited undo or be able to click on doors.

changes from contest version if anyone cares:
I added an extra baby to 1N to allow you to release things faster.
inconsequential floor changes in 2W
bunged a few decorations and different floors in a few places.
got rid of architect seal room.


edit: putting final hold up here too?

I don't really like 2W, it's not interesting enough. The only real restriction on which path to take is the golem, I can probably do a better take on it.

You do have an unintended solution to 1N1W, I can fix that up so the gel baby needs to remain brained.

I did some stuff.

changed 2W. It's still pretty simple but it's a bit more interesting now. There's a challenge (but not actual challenge because of 3.0)

Fixed unintended solution in 1N1W

Renamed the hold, but I still don't like it. Will probably make up some weird place name and use that.

Added force arrows to 2W.
Added some decorations
Final name for hold

I had to recreate the level to get the author name what I wanted, so any progress in level will be no good, sorry.

I think I'm ready to submit unless there's any major breakages.

Huh, in 1N I think it's fastest to release the 2nd tar baby immediately, as due to movement order the tar babies get further apart. Not sure if/how I should change that.

I did 1N the intended way (killed the first baby before releasing the second), but the room in general felt a bit messy. Or maybe that was just me.

Alternate challenge for 2W: Kill everyone in their starting nook.

Overall, a nice little level.

(It did make me ponder how I might create a "tide" that moves back and forth...)

1N is a horde room, so it's ok that it's messy. One baby gives you more time to deal with stuff, releasing the second speeds it up.
I've moved the plates to release the second baby into the monster chambers.

Did you do the version of 2W without the force arrows? You now shouldn't be able to get back into the centre island. Let me know if I messed up the diagonals on the water.

Huh, I downloaded the first one called "One-Tide", but didn't get the force arrows.

Okay, 2W is a bit more challenging now. I don't understand why you said the golem was the only tricky part, since to me it was the queen in both versions.
