Challenges that are awarded when you enter a room do not record a demo. There's a number of these in TSS, e.g. He Came In Peace, Doily Snatcher, Who ya gonna call?

This just means that if you're not online when you achieve it, then there isn't a demo that you can upload later, now that that's an option.

I don't know what a 0 move demo is supposed to look like though, so I don't know if there's a convenient solution to this.

Simplest solution would be to prevent this command from runnimg on turn 0, and delay execution until the next turn, like happens with Go To Level Entrance. I highly doubt there is any hold where this could be an issue but even if it could ot would be trivial to fix

Okay, one risk would be that all existing challenge demos would likely be invalidated.

Turn 0 challenges *do* record a demo, since that's the method used to verify a challenge has been completed. They are marked as hidden however (and should also only be saved on room entry, not loading or restarting a room).

While this does mean you can't upload individually, the "simplest" way to fix this wouldn't be by breaking the way 0-turn challenges are saved, but by making sure "Upload All Scores" uploads all Challenge demos. I've long since forgotten whether there's ways to limit it to current hold only or mark demos as already uploaded, but the data should certainly still be there to send to the server.

"Upload Hold Scores" didn't pick up the challenges I mentioned for me. They were marked off on the Challeges screen so I assume the hidden demos already existed.

Although see my other thread about unuploaded demos.

One common factor with all those challenges is that they are not obtained on yhe first pass through a room. You only get them on a return visit.
