This is a quick and fun hold, good for beginners. For a small hold, the last score point was pretty tricky to optimize for. I managed to buy everything behind GR doors profitably after testing many sequences for fighting monsters.

It looks like the boss in 1N accidentally used a red colored Blue Man instead of the unused Red Man character seen in the editor.

For some reason when I tried to post a comment soon after this hold was released, it showed a wrong board error. Does it take a few days after a hold is released before comments can be posted?

Thanks for the video and your comments. Yeah, the guy in 1N was supposed to be "Red Man", but thankfully the only thing that's wrong is his name--the stats are exactly what I wanted them to be since they're set through a "local" script rather than a "default character".

The 'wrong board error' seems to be a common problem with freshly-made hold boards lately (by which I mean the past year or two?), I don't know exactly why. If it happens again I think there's a thread somewhere people have posted complaints about that before...


I have a much bigger, sprawling project I've been meaning to get back to, but it's a bit daunting with as deep in as I left myself before leaving it. Maybe I'll post it in RPG architecture for feedback on the 3/4ths-ish of it that's already finished.
