The Swap-O-Tron : The Swap-O-Tron : 1 East (0)

Apparently I need to hit the Swap-O-Tron on two consecutive turns three separate times, with only one turn delay between each. (No need on the fourth plate... unless that's the challenge.)

But I'm struggling to see how to do this at all, since I keep losing trapdoors. Any advice?

I'm gonna need some help beyond initial positioning. Trying it out, I can get THIS far before I screw something up:

From here, from what I can gather, at least, I inevitably HAVE to waste two moves if I want to keep the mimic; and I HAVE to keep the mimic. Now, I have gotten a bit further using stunning to my advantage to desynchronize rotations, thusly resulting in this:

But even still... No dice. What am I missing here?

From that position, try turning sword counter-clockwise (NE).

About mimic's sword direction - I suggest you just try turning your sword NE from that position and see where mimic's sword will be troublesome, and work from there.

×If you need a bit more pointers though - after sword NE you kind of have to step on token, and then mimic does.

I'm fairly sure you can't get challenge done from that position (unless I'm missing something; I had to find out a bit different approach for challenge, at least), but ordinary solution is definitely possible.

*(where by "sword" I, of course, mean "stick")
