In the second story of the "Beethro the Delver" series, "Hallholder Bombus Defeats the Eyeball Pudding" Beethro notes that a smitemaster named Ocken is absent from the meeting.

In the Smitemaster Selection "Complex Complex" one of Ombus's guards is named Ocken.

Maybe Ocken is a common name in the Eighth. Or maybe he defected from the guild to join Ombus. Maybe he was with Ombus from the start and was spying on the guild. Maybe they're relatives. What does it all mean?
