×By running from one side of the room to the other I'm assuming you are talking about moving vertically with your sword facing west to get between the top and bottom of the east side of the room. Here is how to get over to the west area.

It is fairly straightforward to get the aumtlich to #1 at the start of the room. You can then lure him down to #2. Using your sword facing west and vertical preference, lead him back up to position #3. From there, circle back over the walls with your sword facing south to get Beethro in position #1. Then stepping SW you will have the aumtlich directly to the south of you. From here you should be able to lure him to position #4. Use sword facing east to get him to 5 from there then go down to the bottom and lure him to 6. When he is at 6 you should be facing west and be along the bottom wall. From there you can safely step east twice.
