icon Editor Inconsistencies (+1)  
When clicking on non-rotatable elements in the editor without zzzzzz (the selection menu), some rotate which way things are being placed, and some don't.
The only elements that don't are:
All floor types (All 'floors' plus grass and road)
All potions
Horns

Also, Force Arrows rotate separately from everything else.

Actually, on the topic of editor inconsistencies, I noticed the hover message that tells you there's multiple variants of one object by turning the mouse wheel doesn't appear for every item that can change; the Master Wall and the Hold Complete wall doesn't indicate it, and neither does the tunnel. Many monsters fall under this too, like the rattlesnake not indicating you can switch to adder or serpent, or the tarstuff mothers. There's also an inconsistency in other spots, like "Fire Trap" and "Firetrap (Active)" should be named the same instead of one with a space and one without.

Additionally, it's not immediately self-evident you can toggle the objects by clicking or hovering, so new builders will take a while to hover over and realize there's more to it.

While we're talking inconsistency in labels, I've wondered why cardinal force arrow directions get a capital ("(North)", "(West)") and semi-cardinals get lowercase ("(northwest)", "(southeast)"). Tunnel directions are all lowercase.

* Master Wall + Hold Complete Wall + Tunnels + Arrows + Disabled Arrows -> now show relevant tooltips
* Water + Shallow Water + Stepping Stone + Serpents + Tarstuff Mothers -> would previously only show tooltip when grouping was on, fixed

Also I reduced the time it takes for tooltip to appear from 1 second to half a second. I think forcing users to wait one second is about twice too long, at least that's what my experience always was with whatever I used. If no one hates this change I think it'd improve the user experience by non-zero amount.

As for Someone Else's comments from the first post - most elements are intentionally set up in such a way that they don't rotate in tandem. The only change that could make sense to do would be to use the same direction for arrows and monsters, but the benefits are small and it'd be a lot of work.

In 5.1.1.alpha.2020-10-16 the tooltips show for all of these EXCEPT the master wall and hold complete wall grouping, which still has no tooltip text.
