I am replaying the game as a rogue. Already did a play through as sorceress. I am trying to get the poison in the Loki scene.

I can leap over to the plateau, but every time I try to get the flask ready, Sigyn goes to the edge of the plateau and leaps out before I can even access the flask.

I am not a super fast keyboard/mouse user here. Is there some kind of trick to getting the poison that I'm missing?

Frustrating indeed. I simply cannot do the actions any faster.

Do I really need the poison as a rogue?

Turn the game speed down and run, don't walk or sneak. Also, make sure Sigyn isn't already at the edge when you jump.

And yes, you do need the poison if you want to win the game.

Feeling totally incompetent now....where do I put the flask to collect the poison? This is starting to wear me out, and I don't mean my character.

Thanks for the slow down and run. At least I seemed to be able to make some progress.

The snake thingy on the ceiling, that's dripping it into Sigyn's bowl. Click the flask on it, to collect the poison.

Thank you!! It only took me about 10 tries but I finally did it. That is a very hard puzzle to solve unless you are really fast with the keyboard and/or mouse. Whew! Off again on the rest of the adventure.

Glad you solved it.

The quickest way is to use the shortcuts. Get the flask on-the-ready at the top of the screen. Then J (jump), take the leap, quickly right-click to change the cursor to the vial, click on the snake to collect the poison, middle-click to get back to your walking animation, J (jump back over), go go go.

It's easier as a sorceress because you can just Blink to/from the door. 'course it doesn't do anything.
