Long story short-- I'm playing with the sorceress, I got my mirror back from the Thieves' lodge, went to Svart, came back, and now the Jarl is missing.

I find him in the cozy company of the Huldra. Lovely woman, really, hollow bits aside.

However, I can't seem to use the mirror on her. When I do, the game says it is a good idea, but my timing is off. However, when she DOES try to use her magical gaze on me, there is no opportunity for me to use the mirror whatsoever.

I hit the Jarl with a magic dart which causes him to leave the screen...on the next screen, he acknowledges that I saved his bacon. However, the moment I leave, WHAM, he's back with the Huldra.

Bug? Or am I missing something here?

Talk to her first about him. I believe it is intended to work like that, but I'll double check.

The jarl's subsequent response when you whack him with a dart is a bug.

If this still doesn't work, I suggest reloading, but a saved game would also be nice if possible so we can fix the issue (email to fizzii_ish@yahoo.com).

Even if this is bugged, it should not prevent you from completing the game.
