Heroine's Quest - Haugbui (0)

Got a question if anyone can help me with, I am playing through as the Wizard (mage) class. See below (contains possible spoilers).

×Aurvandel posted a request to kill the Haugbui in front of the gates. I went out at night, fought it and killed it. Then I came back and it was there again! I killed it 2 or 3 times and eventually it didn't come back (I wandered around the forest a bit before returning to the castle). Now there is no option to "turn in" this quest? No dialogue option with Aurvandel about me having slain the Haugbui. How do I claim my reward??

And once again (this came up in an earlier post): read the Adventurer's guide.

You haven't fully defeated him yet. Talk to a few people about it, perhaps read a book on how to defeat them.

Yes, but which corpse? I have tried killing the thing, running to the graveyard and trying to dig up all the grave, but it won't let me.

Sorry, I tried looking for previous Haugbui post and didn't see any. Just wanted to make sure it's not a glitch....it was not very apparent.

This thing is destroying me, do you have distrupt? Where did you get it if so, if not what tactics are you using against it?

I set the difficulty to lowest for one battle

×Where can I scatter his ashes?? I've got a vase filled with them, already defeated him in battle and everywhere I go says its "not windy enough here". Could use one last nudge (or answer at this point). Thanks.

I remember that the lake was pointed out as being very windy, and I got specific wind-related messages on the screen with the watch tower. Have you tried there?
EDIT: just re-read your first post, and saw you're playing as a sorceress. You actually have a magic way around this - although I'm not sure you can do this now that you've gathered the ashes in a vase.

It works if you cast it instead of collecting the ashes in the vase. If you've already done that, I guess there's only the lake option.

You can trade another item to get the shovel back (another useful tool).
