Considering that you have a total of five things that can press plates, putting the roach there won't help all that much and I don't think it's possible anyway. But,

I can give more specific hints if necessary.

Heh heh, your're wrong, in both cases. (At least when it comes to getting the roach above the upper walls.)

So for some reason I missed the obvious solution, and this was how I solved the room. :p

Edit in response to post below (don't want to clog the H&S thread): Ah makes sense. I guess I just wasn't reading :S Well I like the intended solution and I think few people does it that way, so the challenge stands.

This was my intended solution actually, I meant that it shouldn't be possible to trap the roach on the NW plate using a mirror (and it wouldn't help anyway). I didn't realize that the opposite solution worked, but I guess it makes sense that given the plate placement it works that way too.
