Now that submissions have closed, voting has begun.

We've got five entries and most of them have viewable title screen demos, so no complaining that they are too difficult.

Voting closes in about two weeks, which should be enough for everyone to play the holds.

Standard voting rules apply, rate your own entry a ten and rate entries based on some combination of fun and how well you think it met the requirementsoutlined here.

May the best entry win! I will reveal participants after voting has closed.

The list of Contestants and their holds:

Choices - da rogu3
Intended Chaos - Red-XIII
Isle of Many Faces - Doom
Choose your Own Solution! - Godot23
The Great Castle Escape - Lucky Luc

The compilation hold is here. Don't expect much in terms of hub aesthetics, but at least there are multiple paths through the hub. If I messed something up (and I am good at that), please notify me and I'll fix it.

Edit: and I already did mess something (one entry had multiple staircases) up. It is fixed now.

If anyone wants a more convenient way of viewing the title screen demos, you can go to the editor and create a copy of the hold. Pressing F6 in each room in the editor will allow you to see the demos in the usual way.

Wow, I am truly amazed at the great entries. I found the entries to be very high difficulty and incredibly clever. Really super job done by everyone!

Thanks to everyone who has voted. We only have a couple more days left in the polling, but at the moment we have too many ties so, if you haven't voted, or weren't planning on voting, please do.

Overall: I really enjoyed this contest and everyone definitely put a lot of effort into this, so good luck!

EDIT: I definitely made some mistakes in writing the time of release but don't worry, I'll manually change it when the time comes.

A six for my first contest! I am really happy about that. This was a lot of fun! I think we should all give one more shout out to blorx1 for running this fun contest. :thumbsup Looking forward to the next one.

Also, yea mine wasn't tested as much as it could have been... some bugs I got, but I seemed to have missed some when it came down to it. I think I did miss a couple of paths that I could have took. But now, I know the importance of double or triple testing just to make sure that everything is suitable for release. I think I am learning, and the best way to learn is to hear feedback about your submissions. Therefore, I would like to thank Lucky Luc too for putting me on the right track. Hopefully, I will eventually be at the experience level that some of the people on here are at. You will most likely see me in the next contest, and hopefully that will help me to grow as an architect as well. The summer is still young, after all... I have plenty of time to perfect my technique.

Congratulations to the contest winners!

I've awarded rank point prizes. Lucky Luc, please claim a prize from the Prize Pile.

Thank you again, blorx1, for hosting this contest. It was a neat concept.

Thank you, Mouse, for updating the master list of contest participants.

Lucky Luc stop being awesome.

Feel free to shoot me a PM requesting a steam game.

I've started working on your new prize song. Depending, it should be ready in a couple weeks.

Nice work!

I tried to stop, I really tried, but I can't fight it. It's an addiction.

Seriously, though, thank you guys! :thumbsup I did really not expect to stand a chance with my entry, and I still think at least Doom's room was a much much more elaborate implementation than mine. Anyway, I'm glad that you enjoy my efforts at architecture, and hopefully my first hold will be promoted soon (this time for real).

Thanks to blorx1 for hosting this and to everyone who participated or voted; I kind of dig this contest business. It's too bad though there wasn't more participation this time. Maybe because it's summer or something.

If anyone's interested, I had found 4 differing solutions* to my entry (in hindsight I should have added this to the scroll) - one of which is much easier than the demos (hint - involves a mud baby).
* more if you include all the different variations you can do, such as killing the penultimate snake with the queen instead of a roach, etc..
