Hi. This is a really big hold it'll take some time to be all tested but up to now I played the first 2 levels I found them really enjoyable but I'd like to suggest something, here's some comments:

Level 1:
Click here to view the secret text

Level 2:
Click here to view the secret text

Overall this was pretty neat so far; the only thing I can say is that the difficulty is not linear and in some rooms there are no checkpoints.
About the aesthetics I found it simple but perfect for the hold.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to test all the other levels but, to anyone who wants to jump into this hold I say that is a great idea!

In the second level 1S 2W have a exit in the south, but there isn't any room in 2S 2W.

New Version 1.1 In First Post! Should fix most of the issues in the previous posts, along with some of my own I've found.

Hold is conquerable now (I hope!)

Opinion about the levels, there are some good puzzles in level 3 and lots of them in level 4.
Edit: I wrote this and find the solution 3W.

Hello.
I played again level 2 1S2W but this time I found a non-efficiency solution, once you cleared the first tunnel then you don't need to be fast to clear the other. I also don't understand the green doors. What's the intended solution here?

About level 3 I started playing by North way and arrived at 5N and got stucked so I decided to came later on that room but you can go back only if you clear 5N, I suggest to let the player go back even if he hasn't cleared 5N (but it's the same for 4N as well, once you clear 3N you cannot go South).

For Level 2 1S2W, I'm still in the process of changing this room.

As for the Level 3 backtracking issue you mentioned, the next version will fix this.

I will post the demo, make your own conclusions.

Problably will be an unitended solution due to the plates that closes both doors aren't touched, and there is no trick really.

I played the other rooms of level 3 and I agree with komachi's comments but I'd like to add something:

2N1W: I didn't needed the queen to spawn, the queen got stucked at (34,3) because the North roach arrived at the plate when the queen was in (33,3).

3W: I attached a demo to show you how I did it, if this is the intended way then I really really like it and to fix komachi's solution you can simply remove the pressure plate at (12,26) and (22,27) and move the force arrow from (22,26) to (22,24).

Neither of those were actually the intended solution, I'm afraid. :(

Next version should hopefully reinforce my solution, but I can't be sure. :|

Hi, i found a error in the level 5 3E, the tunnel lead to the roach is leading to north, so you can't move forward and conquer the room.

Also, the notes of almost rooms of level 5

Several rooms on this level are very equal, conquers room with golems and tight spaces. Left conquer the 2S1E, problably going to try later, and the room mentioned above.

Too bad, that's one of my favorite rooms in the entire hold! ;)

Just want to point out that I'm not sure if 4N and 3E of Level 5 are possible anymore. :( If no one can beat them, I'll just make them easier.

Both rooms are possible right now, don't worry. You can make them easier if you want.

Level 1

1s1w- Nice trick that might be more fun/harder if you have the orb at 10,13 toggle the door at 7,15.

1s3e- what about saving the player some effort and put a tunnel from 19,25 to 2,25?

Rooms I didn't like so much
1n1w- a ton of doors/orbs is a bit annoying and then most weren't even needed to solve the room.
1n2w- I'm not much for tunnel mazes though easy if you use a paint program.
1n2e- Again, a bunch of orbs/doors is not so fun for me, but pretty easy anyways.

Fun clean, easy level. I liked it.

I quickly played through level 6, here's my comments:
1N: Easiest room of the level.
1N1E / 1S1E : Ouch, very nasty, didn't found them funny.
3E: Not bad but it became a little boring after a while.
1S: I'm really having an hard time here, not bad at all.
1N2E: Nice efficiency room, I really liked it! I'm not sure why you put all those orbs, 2 are enough IMO. I completed the room using the northest orb and I saved 1 move. Using the eastern orb I always arrive 1 move later, is it possible from that one?
1S2W: At first sight it looked like an extreme efficiency puzzle but after thinking a while I figured out it wasn't, I saved 4 moves, really nice room!
3W: I really liked this room, coming back after Killing the roach is really funny!
1N2W: Not too hard; I don't see the point of all those orbs, I can simply put a mimic in one on the spots without striking the orb so that I can choose my favourite orientation.
1W: I definitely was sure that this was impossible until I looked in the editor, you should put a scroll otherwise it looks like a cheap trick, also you will not be able to go back once you go north, even though there's exit there you should put a road to go back.
3S2W: Played this in the editor. Pretty easy
3S3W: I don't really liked this room, once you figured what to do then there is more luck than skills IMO.
I stopped here.

I've played through level 5.

Level 2

3e- room w/ lots of queen roaches and trap door corridors. i found this hard but fun.
1n1w&3w- i like these
2w1s- efficiency w/ queens and wws. was tough for me.
secret room- didn't look fun. skipped.

Level 3

3n4n,5n- liked these rooms w/ ees
secret room- running back and forth opening doors. didn't finish this.

Level 4

3n- very nice room w/ golems
1n3e- efficiency room w snake chasing. made it w/ no moves to spare.
3w- killing snake against red door. a bit tricky. fun.
3s- i thought i might never solve this but i did. very nice.
secret room- trapping queens. i liked this as a secret room.

Level 5

1n3e- efficiency room with briar and tar. tough. i like it.
3e- the version you say you might use as a secret seems impossible since if you step on the square south of the roach you are stuck there.

I'm enjoying this hold!

Are you using an old version of the hold? I think that was fixed in Version 1.2

Level 6

3e- unsolved. wws surrounded by bombs
1s- unsolved. must lure seep east.
1w- unsolved to get to 1n1w.
1n3e- 3 columns of golems was very fun.

Level 7

3w- unsolved- tar babies kill me on last tar cut.
3n1w & 2n2e- no nice arrow picture here?
1n1e- broken. just stab all the seeps.
3s3w- not sure the point of the conquer token. red herring?
3s1w- how do you reach this? i die if i hit the bomb in 3s.
Haven't tried secret or southern section yet.

A demo of Level 7 3S3W (by anyone) would be appreciated. Not sure if the elegant solution I intended is the only way possible.
