Hey, lookit what I found while looking for Tower of the Sorcerer walkthroughs! If you are Mike Rimer and easily embarrased, you might not want to read this post.

http://students.cs.byu.edu/~mrimer/

I'm assuming this is our Mike, as he links to Caravel and calls DROD the best puzzle game that has ever been made. :lol

Awe-inspiring tool-assisted speed run of Super Mario 64, notable for managing the otherwise highly improbable feat of getting 0 stars.

There's only 2 questions in my mind now; first, what does Miyamoto think, and second, how long will it take to find a way to skip the keys?

The soundtrack from The Spirit Engine is now freely available! I don't know since when it's been free, as I only found out about it from a random Google search today. Top quality stuff.

Oh, if you haven't played The Spirit Engine itself yet, I strongly recommend doing so. Freeware RPGs don't get much better than this.

What happens to your hand when you karate chop a brick?

The site the video originated from was riddled with NSFW ads, so I embedded it on another site.

FDR was hated by a bunch of conservative businessmen who wanted to overthrow him and install a facist dictatorship.

Also what happened to the history channel? They never make shows like this anymore. It's not the "history" channel anymore, it's discovery lite.

Assuming you mean Castro, I find it funny/bizarre that you/media use FDR as an abrrev.

Then again, my assumption that Castro is assoc may be wrong. Started watching it but the inab to ff the vhs on my dvd sk210 m33nz I be-arrived distan ced from (one 24th of a day) ^.

Or should I say, my point.

I guess I need to stop watching Fry and Laurie for 2 days.

Um, why would you assume he meant Castro? Insofar as the description of the video says,

A documentary on the business plot of 1932, in which a group of private financiers sought to depose FDR and impose a fascist government in the UNited States.

I think it's pretty clear that by "FDR", they meant FDR, not Castro. I find it bizarre that you'd misinterpret him like that.

lol Deal. I did need some sleep.

Apologies if I offended anyone with my previous post. I'd never heard of FDR and presumed it was Castro.

I've finally caught up on sleep so feeling more alert now :)

I'm assuming he heard of Roosevelt, but not the acronym. It's not used widely outside the US.

Yeah, I was thinking "which Federal Democratic Republic?" at first myself, until I realized that that would be a highly silly name for a person. And then there's this Franklin D. Roosevelt guy I once heard about... :D

np: Pole - Berlin (1)

Right... I started watching the video but youtube wasn't buffering quickly enough so abandoned it. I ended up assuming it was Fidel Castro and just wondered why the D was part of the acronym.

I have never heard of the acronym FDR (though I've heard of Roosevelt). JFK is the only acronym I can think of which I can associate with an American president.

Excuse my ignorance.

Unfortunately, I don't think she was. But the gameshow is set up to match smart kids with dumb adults. Success!

Allow me to note that this phenomenon is not entirely confined to the US, however:

British people unlcear on the concept

French people extremely unclear on the concept
