I think it's in a made-up language. I don't think you're supposed to know what it means but maybe we'll understand later when they reveal more about the Mothingness.

I remember that and I remember also wondering at the time if it was an anagram, but I was too distracted then to work at it to find out if it was or not.
(and this being the ragged end of an extremely long and trying term, I'm too mentally exhausted to try now I'm afraid. )

Although I have not reached this point in TCB, I believe the Pit Thing also says that in Lowest Proper or at Lowest Point, this time with a bit more explanation behind its meaning.

But, of course, this is just speculation.

Well, I doubt it's an anagram because of the word "Moth'ness" whiche obviously means "Mothingness." This doesn't necessarily mean it's not an anagram, but it's possible. Maybe it's like some sort of ritual pagan chant or something. And, by the way, I speculate that the pit thing is the Mothingness, but I wouldn't know because I haven't played through TCB and they probably don't tell you even then.

Nah, a recording of someone talking played backward doesn't actually sound like someone talking. I can't really describe how it sounds, but it sounds nothing like that, trust me.
