I'm entering from the west (as I can see it, the only possible entrance, when the room isn't finished)

But I can't seem to kill the roaches, with my sword pointing NW

Since this room contains hot tiles and a brain, the west pointing force arrow near your entrypoint can help kill roaches that you can't get with your sword.

I can do that 1 time, and then there is a roach nord and a roach south of me...
(and I still haven't killed any roach yet with my sword)

Is there a posibility to get all the roaches to one side (north or south)?

EDIT: never mind, struglling with tar now.
I'll post if I need some help there too

The trick is to stall the first roach reaching you. You have to use how a brained roach moves. I think I can provide you with this short help demo to show you the first few moves, without spoiling the room.

Killing the tar baby's: no problemo,
but I can get to the tar mother in time.

While killing the tar babies is indeed no problem, it is a challenge to kill them fast enough.

×Lure the babies around the south area, then drag them with you around the north part. Make sure your sword orientation is suitable for self-protection after stepping off the oremites, since the second spawn will arrive shortly.

I have a problem. When I kill last roach, the turn is 27th and I'm at 2,12. In order not to kill the brain, I must come to the oremite square from 7,9 and not from 7,11. However, while I'm trying to reach 7,9, tar babies spawn and overwhelm me...

I've tried a lot of times but result is always the same. Help, please?
