Character brains continue to double monsters' ATK after their script has ended.

Are you setting the MonsterATK Multiplier back to their original settings when the brain dies?

Eh? Firstly, the brain didn't die, it just left the room with the commands "Disappear" and "End". (It turns out that when you kill a character brain, by contrast, monsters' ATK does return to normal.)

Secondly, the presence of a brain, real or character, doesn't affect the variable _MonsterATKMult; it doubles all monsters' ATK. _MonsterATKMult can still be used to modify monsters' ATK separately from this (and indeed, that's the solution I've been forced to resort to, setting it to 50 for this one room so the bug is cancelled out).

Disappear, Imperative Die doesn't reset the value either, even though the NPC is effectively dead. Currently, the only way for the effects of an NPC Brain to be properly reset is for it to die visibly.

I think that the most intuitive system would be for only visible NPC brains to double attack.

This omission definitely appears to have been an oversight. I'm planning on fixing this in 1.2.3.
