We are stuck on Level 3 twice south once east.
How do you do it???? Do you need mimcs? If so, how do you get them?

So far as I know, any level requiring mimics, the potion has to be seen, since I don't believe it can be hidden under tar, although I suppose monster could be standing on it. Regardless, you do not have to worry about that anywhere in King Dugan's Dungeon. Secondly, swordplay in DROD is somewhat different than you might expect, you do not have to swing the sword directly at the roaches or step directly into them... so long as the sword ends up on the same square as the roaches at the end of your turn you will strike a fatal blow, thus leading to many a way to do battle. This stage will give you some examples of that once you complete it... persevere, and I'm sure you will figure it out. EVERY stage is solvable and I wish you luck and very frustrating pleasure in your journeys through the rest of the dungeon =) Welcome to DROD =)

One more thing. If you still can't solve it, at every turn after you hit the orb, look for spaces you can move to. You will find ones that will get you there. If you can't, try looking at the monster movement tips on the help page.

Well, I've had a quick look over the current drod.caravelgames.com page, but couldn't really find any references to backswiping, which is, well, bad...

Hey, I am also having some major problems with this room. I'm pretty sure I have the first two moves down on the left side...



...but after that, there seems to be no way to go except forward.

Any other help please? I'm sure I'm going to kick myself when I figure it out (if I figure it out).
