When manipulating the wraithwing to the hole, you need to zig-zag in the north-south directions, rather than in the east-west directions.

Ok, I can get both Beethro and the Wraithwing into the room surrounding the snakes, but I can;t for the life of me get the wraithwing in amongst the snakes. I can't actually get it onto the red door. I've tried with Beethro on the north and on the south sides, thinking the mimic might in someway impact the WW's movement.

Mimics do not affect wraithwing movement.

Use the wraithwing's vertical movement preference.

I returned to DROD after a looong break, was doing some DLCs I have never got to do before and well... ended up stuck in this room. It seems I really do not understand WW movement patterns well enough :(. I see some kind soul posted pictures in this thread but I can't see them for some reason. Would anyone be able to give me some more hints, or even a demo, so I could try to understand this room?

Fortunately, there's only one wraithwing in this room, so the more complicated movement rules for groups don't come into play.

A single wraithwing will stay still if it's exactly five tiles away from you. It will move towards you if it's further than that, and away from you if it's closer.

Maybe that refresher on the rules will be enough? If not, you can always ask again.

This helps a little but I am still stuck. I manage to get the WW into the E room without dropping trapdoors but for now only

. But then there does not seem to be a way to make it move into the snakes room or even onto the red door. I realize the answer to that may be on the room pics I can't see... Or do I need to find another way to get it to E,
