So, I'm thinking about maybe possibly going to PAX this year. I'e never been to a gaming expo of any sort, before, so I have no clue what to expect at all. Or even how many people I might know there. So, uh... Anyone who happens to have gone in previous years, or who might be going this year, um... yeah. What kinds of stuff should I expect, and who should I try to meet up with?

Oh, my. That doesn't necessarily agree with my pay level, though.... Hmm. Not to mention I'd have to *find* Tycho... though I suppose that might not be as hard as it sounds, really, given that he'd have to be at a Penny Arcade booth or something, right?

I went to the ECTS in 97 or 98 and had a great time.
I guess my advice would be to just enjoy the day and check out all the main stalls.

PAX happens over labor day weekend in Seattle. Anyone besides me going this year?

I made it to PAX Prime this year! I'm lucky that they decided to set up shop in my backyard. I had a fun experience at the "Pitch Your Game Idea" panel.
