Well, I've been thinking - I really liked AAQ. I enjoyed making it and the finished product was easily my favourite Hold I have made. So, I thought - how about a sequel?

The story follows on from where AAQ left off - 1st Aumtlich has just escaped the Empire and is wandering, fairly aimlessly, around the Aboveground.

I've tried to make the difficulty curve a bit less steep this time, whilst still maintaining the mediumish difficulty of AAQ. So - please test, comment, and enjoy!

So far the Hold has 3 levels .

I didn't end Aumtliche's Quest number1 - was too difficult.

This has some problems:

First, you didn't add command "Appear" to first Aumtlich-NPC in Etrance and 1W so you can't see them and script in Etrance can't end.
Second, you can't return to 1N 1W from 2N 1W. Platform instead of bridge would be good.

Puzzles are very good. :D

Yes, you can. Read the scroll.

Entrance- the visible character: Character should be visible at start. I mean 1st aumlicht.

Err... what?

Etrance - there's no command "Appear" to 1-st Aumtlich-NPC.

It need to move, but when it's invisible it can't. And it's initaly invisible. So, cut scene don't end. It's on my PC, at least.

It's visible and the cutscene ends... what's the problem? Did you re-download the update?

O.K. Then I'll comment about puzzles:

1W - Good "tutorial" room that explains you theme of the level.
1S 1W - I think this is the best in the level. It's hard to manipulate giant on HT(HT=Hot Tile).
1N 1W - Not very difficult, but need to be careful with wubbas.
2N 1W - Pretty easy - the main thing is to kill the northern wubba last... and I don't understand meaning of four wubbas that aren't on the plates.
1N 2W - Passing through, though need to be careful.
2W - Same as 1N 2W, the only difference is conquer token.

I did like all puzzles. Waiting for the second level. :)

Ah, that's an unintended solution - you are meant to have to kill all the Wubbas on the plates at the same time.

EDIT: Updated, with this unintended solution fixed.

Yes, I know. That's why it's a secret room. It's *supposed* to be difficult.

Hi hartleyhair. I just downloaded the current version from the first post and I'm having the same problem as reported by others: invisible character and never ending cut-scene on Entrance.

Aha, sorry! I'd thought I'd checked the 'Visible' box but it seems not; that bizarre Mac bug where the checkboxes wouldn't be checked led to that scripting bug.

In any case, fixed.

Cool second level. More difficult than first one. I haven't solved 2S yet. But here're comments on other rooms:

Etrance: clever. I could only use stairs to trap wraithwing, so I had to get lower part of room while wraithwing is in the upper part. Anyway, solved.

1S: Kill one tar mother eye and trap wraithwing with other one? Not very tricky but interesting.

1S 1W: Why all those tar blobs and tar mother? I made simplier - blowed up all wraithwings with the bomb. Probably this is unintended...

1S 1E: Cool. Wraithwing behaviour is so strange... they could kill me, but didn't. It's the best room in the level in my opinion. :thumbsup

2S: I haven't found the way to kill waterskipper yet.

Comments on new level:

Entrance: cool! I thought it's impossible but a little running around those seeps made guard stab them. :)

1E and 2E: AWESOME rooms. Very good work.

1S and 2S: So, what's the point of stalwarts? I've simply killed all the evil eyes without freeing the stalwarts... -_-

1W and [secret room coordinates]: very good! Adder manipulation requires good timing.

1N and 2N are required rooms. How I'm supposed to open the blue door? :?
