The first part of this room requires you to place the mimic on the northern platform. Once done, hop on your own platform, move north quite a pit, then move down so the mimic can ride the platform too.
As you probably know, you need the mimic to get in the way of the serpents, since serpents can't eat mimics. Maneuver yourself you can maneuver the mimic to get into the traps. Since you have a big open space, this isn't a major problem. One of the more difficult problems is getting the mimic back onto the platform. But as said before, all you need to do is maneuver, and as said before, you have plenty of space to do it.
It doesn't matter what order you do them in, since there is no "final trap" that has a green door at the end of the trap.
Since there isn't really a way to explain how to do this beside explaining it's purpose and saying exactly what steps you should take, I will provide a demo. If necessary.
