Thought so - what's happening here is completely normal and to be expected.

The spider is running version 3.1 and thus rejects (and will continue to reject) all demos that were made with newer builds until it itself is upgraded to version 3.2.

Ergo: not a bug.

I've downloaded 3.2.0 (OS X) and I continue to have high score problems:

- (All the time) The room claims that "There are no high scores for this room" even though later reloads often show the high scores. Sometimes I need to reload 10-20 times before scores appear. Sometimes quitting and restarting the app seems to help.
- (Frequently) The game complains that a downloaded demo is corrupted, although subsequent attempts at downloading the same demo work successfully
- (Occasionally) Clicking on one person's demo downloads a different demo

I've noticed this happening more often lately with the Windows build as well. :|

Are things back to normal yet? I still have some scores that are missing. I think I remember mention of some scores being irretrievably lost, but I also know that others were only temporarily gone, so that might still be the case maybe.

My question is essentially 'Should I reupload or redo rooms now or should I wait a little longer?'

You should reupload or redo rooms at this point. I don't believe there are any scores that are recoverable that haven't been recovered.

FYI: There still seems to be some January '08 problems, at least in TCB.

The City: 5N2W, 6N2W (Syntax, 25th Jan 08)
Interlude Negotiations: 1N1E (LastResort, 23th Jan 08)

All seem to be mismatched rooms as downloading doesn't add a demo to the current room.

Getting the spider to recheck fixed the last one, I left the first two in case it needs investigating.
