Those batteries look badly photoshopped. The checkerboard has a nice healthy shadow and looks real. Course, the board doesn't prove any skill, and you're allowed to post falsehoods 'supporting' a truth, but nonetheless it is interesting.

Yeah, they all lie the same way, and the one turned in a different way still has exactly the same shadow as the others. Still, it would be very evil to create a fake photo of 70 batteries just so people would guess that it's false ;)

I almost never loose in Yatzy.(30)
Often when we (me and my family) go on a trip with train, or does something else that includes us having nothing to do, we play yatzy. And sometimes we get these crazy yatzy epidemics, when we just play game after game. It’s fun, because I almost always win. I think I’ve won about 80% of all the times I’ve played yatzy, and that’s really good counting that we often play 4-5 five people at a time, and that it’s a game almost entirely based on luck.

I once climbed into a open window in the middle of the city.(61)
It was a couple of years ago when I was still a member of the broad games club here in Arvika. One Saturday, me and my friend reached the local (which was on the fourth floor of a high building) a bit early, and the club leader, who had the keys had not yet come. So we went outside waiting for him. And then we realised that the window by the small fire ladder was open, so we climbed in. When the club leader finally came he just said “hi”, and sat down asking if we wanted to join a game of Settlers, and I don’t even think he reflected over the fact that we got into the local before he did.

It’s the second one. It was actually with the same friend I usually go snowboarding with :)

I’ve biked over 6 kilometres with a unicycle without taking any brakes.(71)
One Christmas, (4 or 5 years ago) I got a unicycle (a one wheeled bicycle) for present. I started training inside, getting a few centimetres longer every time. After a few months I was good enough to go outside, cycling on small roads and one the ice of the lake close to use, (I know, that wasn’t very smart, but it went ok). I got better and better, and I always tried to manage to bike longer and longer without taking any brakes. My record so far is a bit over 6 kilometres.

I’ve ran 6 kilometres in less than 21 minutes.(46)
I love running, and I love competing in running, as I’ve mentioned both in my Questionnaire post, and in a separate thread about running I made just before a competition. This autumn there was a 6 kilometres long running competition here, with over 150 competitors, in which I managed to get in 7th place. My time was 20 minutes and 54 seconds.

The first statement is the true one, I love running, but I’ve never been that fast.

Do you have ANY IDEA of HOW LONG it took me to ARRANGE THEM this way?

I bet the longest part was finding lighting that would cast the exact same shadow on 70 batteries, but that shadow turned 90 degrees on the only one facing 90 degrees diffrently (and none of the shadow on the carpet they're on either!)

Thats a very skilled arangement there...

Well, that's why there was this delay between my two submissions.

Now that the contest's ended, here are some more things about myself. All of the following are true, and were in some way brought back to me by other stories in this thread.

I once smashed a window with my rear end.
Whether crouching behind a living room chair is a good hide-and-seek strategy is debatable; but suddenly getting up while moving backwards away from the "attacker" is definitely a bad idea when you're just in front of a balcony door. I broke the inner one of the low panes; got away with a superficial cut on the butt.

I have entered Poland without the passport I should have carried.
Poland had just joined the EU, and someone at the Polish embassy to Switzerland was a little confused by all the new regulations. They told my friend (one in a group of four travelers who had volunteered to get information, tickets and such) that Swiss citizens could enter Poland with just an identity card, and no passport was needed. The frontier guard disagreed, but eventually let us in based on return tickets and a programme that promised we'd be back out of the country after a week.

I learned to fire assault rifles over 300m when I was 17.
There are these courses the local firearms clubs offer to young men, so that they don't go into Swiss Army basic training (which is fairly brief) totally blam-incompetent. I quickly discovered I'm crap at it, so it's probably fortunate for not only myself that I turned out to be medically unfit to serve.

I have eaten horse.(Wasn't there an entry about this at one point?)
Lunch at the high school cafeteria, and at least twice since in restaurants.

Hmmm... I missed the whole contest, so here are some things about me. Naturally, all of the following are true.

I have eaten horse.
Ever read the paper packages of hamburgers? The cheap ones here actually contains chicken and horse meat. I used to eat a lot of them, but since they taste terrible, I try not to eat them anymore.

I have seen some other forumites in real life.
Well, one, actually. Not in UK obviously. How is the UK meetup going along?

Hmmm... Is that it? I'm really boring. :D

I have to admit that I voted correctly for Syntax's entry because I thought every bit of his supporting info was a lie, and that he'd been playing poker with a contract killer.

The contract killer statement was true though...

I thought every bit of your supporting information was false, but the statement was true.

Since others had more interesting bits of information in their revealed answers, I'll supplement mine.
I did indeed broadcast two swearwords. The two songs were: "Ashes of American Flags", by Wilco, which contains the line "Nobody gives a ****", although it's kinda hard to make out if you're not really listening for it; and "Who Needs the Peace Corps?", by Frank Zappa, where he says he will "love the cop who kicks the **** out of me on the street", and which is very easy to hear.
I did not dress up as Tori Amos. I dressed up as Daphne from "Scooby Doo". I did freak out several friends who had had childhood crushes on the character.
How did everyone do at guessing? I got 13 out of 26 correct. I'm as good as chance!

Fun game!

So now that the contest is over, I have to ask Syntax: did bluffing a contract killer somehow involve Bridge, or maybe playing poker with a lawyer? :fun

You could have used the new acronym: DMW?

Don't know what's wrong with it: fixed.
