I second that. I follow the forum via EMail and it's much more awkward to read a long subject than to re-read the question in the body. My mail client has limited screen real-estate allocated to the subject line and I have to hover for a tooltip to read if it's too long (which may disappear before I'm done if it's a really long subject).

If you don't want to re-type the question, I can suggest C-C and C-V (or C-Insert and S-Insert).

I uhh... third this. What does Subj mean anyway? I imagine it means Subject, but then the guy could just fully type out Subject, or even better, the actual words that he wants to say when he says subject.

I always thought it was just polite to at least reword the topic in your opening post. I've noticed more than once that people have, once they have clicked on the topic, ignored the topic name altogether.
