Hi,
I'm new to DROD and games of this sort. I'm having trouble in this room. Keep getting killed. Could I get some help with strategy or whatever it takes to emerge victorious and trimphant.This is also my first post to the forum and I hope I'm doing it right.

JerryK, for future ref, instead of creating a new post because of a typo etc., it's preferable to edit your old one (there's an 'edit/delete' option at the bottom-right of the post).

Also there is a "Post Reply" button at the bottom right of every thread. It's what almost everyone else uses. Not "Quote reply". Don't worry about it though... Everyone who knows how had to learn at some stage somehow how to post without playing some kind of Rainbow Game... (Silly forum game, probably dead.)

Hi,
Thanks for posting the demo. Unfortunately, I can't import it. I'm playing KDD2.0.
When I try to import the demo I get a message that the demo belongs to a hold I don't have. I imagine that the demo was made on KDD, not KDD2.0. Is there a way I can get the demo for 2.0

It might be that the KDD 2.0 demo and KDD 2.0 full holds have different hold IDs, since they're not the same (length and all).

I do think this *isn't* the case for TCB, but it could well be for the earlier DRODs...

Hi guys, just signed up to the forum to ask this:

Is there a better solution to this room than the one I have found?

After beating this room he says

Does he absolutely always say this, or is there a "better" solution that the game is looking for?

p.s. I realise this is a huge necro, but it's my understanding that in this section a necro is preferred to a new thread when discussing a specific room.

There's a way to kill the queens before they spawn roaches. Time it so you release them around turn 30.

Well I sort of got that bit, but they spawn one roach (because there's one space in their cage). Are you saying there's a way to do it where they spawn any roaches or have I already got it? Hmm, they did manage to spawn some more roaches after they ran into the corner.

Either way, is his dialogue indicative of a better solution or does he always say that?

EDIT: Wait, got it. Yeah, managed to get them before they spawned any after being freed and answered my own question because his dialogue was different.

Thanks disoriented! Time to continue, I have a long journey ahead of me judging by the list of sequels.
