I am working on a hold for the contest and I want action by two different npc. Actually I want one npc to walk and talk and then I want Beethro to walk and talk.

I have tried writing script like the following for the npc:
cut scene #
Player role None
move to x,y
speech ...
cut scene 0

Then I gave another npc Beethro's directions:
wait 15 moves
cut scene #
Player role None
move to x,y
speech...
cut scene 0

But for the second character the cut scene doesn't happen. The speech takes place but I have to move Beethro to get it to start.

Is it even possible to have two different actions take place by two different characters, with the exception of a battle? I know you can do it with speech but how would you do it with move to?

Cutscenes aren't character specific events. If any character starts a cutscene then it effects everyone, and likewise if any character ends a cutscene, it effects everyone - it doesn't have to be the same character that started it.

So for your code, my guess is that the second npc's "start cutscene" command happened before the first npc's "end cutscene", so the second cutscene ended just as soon as it began. I recommend just removing the "end cutscene" command from the first npc. You can also remove the "start cutscene" from the second npc, it won't make any difference (unless you're changing the speed).

OK I tried what you suggested and it did work better. Now it is just a matter of getting it in the right order, but at least I can stop hitting my head on my desk.
