I think I'll just be quiet. Well, for one, I think I misinterpereted your statement about the tunes not changing to progress; I was thinking of levels, like the ones in every game. Instead, you meant [I think] the same song undergoing variations depending on your actions. Those games are few and far between (the list pretty much ends at Meteos, Rayman 2: The Great Escape, and Electroplankton. Oh, and Guitar Heroes and Elite Beat Agents.)

But, most of all, I think I just perpetuated the argument into another side discussion that I can't quite follow, so I officially don't know what's going on here.

Hmm? Dynamic music's really common - most Lucasarts and Nintendo games have dynamic music that changes based on the actions in the game.
