This could linked to the same issue as my receiving old messages multiple times bug.

When I hit enter, the list of players chatting is never reliable. I have to hit it 3 or 4 times before I know who's actually online. I sometimes get partial lists, or a "No-one is currently online" type message. Occasionally, I get the actual list of players.

It's been happening since the original TCB but thought I'd mention it as it's still happening (and getting rather annoying).
