I'm currently using 3.1 and just noticed that a no demo was recorded for "Troshian Tower: Warp Level: 1N". I thought the fix for this bug was meant to be in 3.1 so thought I'd mention it. Apologies if this is part of the 12% left of the patch.

Let me know if there's any further info which could help. I resolved it by restoring to the last checkpoint and exiting. This did record a demo. From experience, it seems the lack of demo recording is linked to the length of time I leave the game on a given room. In particular, this room was left on move x for nearly 2 hours before I carried on.

Just to see if the same sort of thing's happening: have you tried restoring to checkpoint as you did, playing a few moves, and then either undoing or pressing 'R' and seeing if completing the room still saves a demo? In some long rooms with lots of checkpoints in Magic Show 2, this caused a demo not to save in 3.0.0 for me.

I'd test myself in 3.1, but I can't save *any* demo right now with my current data files (which I reported in the 3.1 thread).

Excellent catch!

I returned to the room, restored to the last checkpoint, deleted my demo, killed the last mud eye, hit r, killed it again and exited.

No demo recorded.

Hitting undo instead of r causes no demo to be recorded too... Also, you're right that there's lots of checkpoints (24 in fact).
