So far, I have completed only one room, since I didn't have much time.

Just out of curiosity, how do you get each room to be a different floor colour?

Just from the main page of the editor, select a room, choose the floor style, and you're done. If you don't do this then every new room you make is the same as the last one.

Game on,

I asked for help on the previous page, but it may go unnoticed and I'm getting really stuck (serves me right for saying that only one room is really difficult):

In the "Lisabona" (ship) room (I don't have DROD with me so I can't check the coords), could anyone who beat it tell me what side they entered the room from?

I'm on Lisabona right now, but haven't solved it yet. I entered from the east.

urban, I did notice in this room the green doors don't stop you from leaving the room to the west, but then you start by standing on a green door in "Labyrinth". And from there, you can go south from that room, but it's obvious that you can't solve that room (you start on a dead end trap door path). Clearly I'm heading through these rooms in an unintended manner somehow. Perhaps force arrows or some other method could be used to avoid this?

Also, some of the checkpoints in the rooms (garden, aim tar) are placed so you can't avoid them when solving the room. If the checkpoints are forced like this, it makes it so if you happen to be in an unwinnable situation (because things spawn the next move or whatever) you have to restart the whole room over again or exit the game and restore from a different check point. Both of which can be annoying.

I prefer to use checkpoints when I know I'm safe or have just cleared one area in a room and am moving on- rather than, say, being forced to save just before I step on a force arrow that's 2 squares below where 10 tar babies spawn and right next to a brain controled snake pit.:)

That's what I thought, but at least some of the messages above implied otherwise.

Anyway, it means I'm on the right path...

I can't solve that room even from the west. I am going to leave it till last. I can get to the tar but once I start clearing it a stupid roach gets stuck.

Thank you for all your coomments on this hold. If you want to check on the demos for all the rooms except the Relax area (northern one). I have the notion that some rooms are hard but i tried to design them in such a way that you have quite a lot saving points. The idea was not to do a masochist hold :~( , but a hold that would be chalenging and not very boring. Although i admit that rooms like "in out in out " can be a bit boring.
This is not a mega hold project, i didn't even think that much about that, in fact there are only 28, not-so-easy rooms, the north area do not have any hard room. :)

I would like to ask you, wich were the rooms you considered as the worst and the best.

Once again thanks for all the comments. :)

PS: if you found out a totaly different way for solving one of the rooms please send your demo.

I haven't finished all the rooms yet (I still have three, assuming I didn't miss any); one comment about Lisabona (which I finally completed after several hours of working on it):

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this before, as I don't have time to read up, but how do you beat the room with the big "X" in the center? (I forget what it's called). I've played it about 20 times, and I've been able to kill the first spawn, but that's it. Also, I think you should put a checkpoint in the center - either that or make the spiders roaches. It's really annoying to have to keep killing them over and over again.

OK, I got through...

The other rooms in this area seem a lot easier than the rest of the hold somehow.

I can't find any more...so.....

Can someone tell me how to get to 1N2W?

This is my last version of this hold. Iīve only made minor changes to the original that were suggested by some of the DROD players.

If youīre new to this hold enjoy, in one of my messages there is a file with demos for all the rooms.

Good luck
