Just head back the way you came in; there's no exit other than the one you entered from.

Help Please I know I must be missing something simple here but I am stuck. The queen goes up over the red arrow know matter what I do. I thought I could get the queen to spawn blocking it long enough to kill but that didn't work either.

It seems I have the hardest times on the rooms with the least posts. Must be over thinking it, or may-be I'm just stupid, lol

Either way I love the game and I think this might be my last room on this level. Love to finish tonight.

Ok two hours later and still no luck ...... Grrrrrrr

The red arrow? Do you mean the arrow on the trapdoor? If so, at least you've got that right - you need the queen to cross that arrow. However, you can't follow it (her?) yet, or the red door will drop and the solitary roach will be trapped behind an arrow. If you go to kill that roach, the queen will move to the SE, into an area with another arrow trap.

From your comments above, you should know what to do in this situation.

Still can't get past. I need a bit more help than that hint. I tried going after the roach. Queen in arrow. I go for the queen. Roach in arrow. I try killing them with the briar root. Me dead. HELP!
Give me some time, though, I want the H&S magic to work.
Edit: Nope. No H&S magic this time. Like always.
Edit: Never mind. I'm done.

Help! I get the qween and the other roach but but the time i do it the briars have already blocked my path! is there somthing im missing? i get so that at the time i reach the X they block the entrance. please help!

Once this room is defeated (the end of the chain of 13 rooms under the library), where do you go from here? There is no exit to the south to get back to the library. Do you have to retrace your steps through all the rooms you have completed?

Yes, that's correct.

As you retrace your steps, Beethro will have a conversation with the Pit Thing. This will give him a clue on where to go next, after he comes out of the library.

Pleeeeze help! I am so stuck! None of these solutions have worked for me, I just don't get it... when I go after the Queen, the roach gets away. When I go after the roach, the queen gets away! Help!!!!

Return to the entrance. If you mean the "quick route" mentioned by the Pit Thing, that's where you go next after leaving Under the Library, and it's located in The City.

Return to the level entrance, the room called The Entrance. (It's not an easy journey; all the blue doors will have toggled, releasing some briars that were trapped before.)
