M&Ms, the official candy of DROD.net while DROD.net was still around, has got a little viral game up where you identify famous horror movies in a painting.

Kind of interesting. Don't know many horror movies, myself, and I couldn't find The Shining.

Interesting. Turns out I know far more movie titles than actual movies ... I laughed when I worked out the one with the kid lying on his back at the right side.

Overall, my favorites were among the puns - the same one Znirk mentioned, and the bunch of people just above him. My least favorite was the mountain, which wasn't even the name of a movie.

Possibly the presence of M&Ms detracts from the Hieronymus Bosch feel of the rest of the painting. I like that they tried though. I seem to be stuck on 35.

I've got 30 with the kind help of this thread, and that's likely to be it for me -- there are at least 5 I can't even find in the picture, and I'm not really sure about some of the rest ... e.g. do the people arguing about zeroes ("Much ado about nothing"?) belong with the fish, or are they separate items?

They are separate. Also, while there are a few thrillers in the bunch, horror movies are the best bet, and certainly no comedies (with one notable exception, but it is directly related to the horror genre). So neither "Much ado about nothing" nor "grumpy old men" would work...
