Normally, without the necessary tools, you can't walk on water or fire (unless from ice). However, with the magnet, you can walk onto fire and water while pulling an object, and subsequently explode and die. Is this intentional?

I just tried it, and you're right. Intentional or no, it still is interesting. My guess is that it's a bug.

The reason is that the game can't foresee every consequence of your actions. For instance, if you slide over ice and end up in fire, you die as well.

Basically, not being able to walk into fire is self defense (most related games do allow you to kill yourself like that ). The hero sees fire in front and refuses to enter. If he's pulling the box, the fire is behind him and he won't see it

Except for the fact that our hero does not face the box while pulling it.
