Nah, I'm not going to mod people down over something like that, but you could go ahead and tell us what problems you're having...
Some general advice:
No matter what the OS, you should be able to take screenshots of just about anything with
VideoLAN Client (or VLC in short) by playing it in VLC, then choosing "
Video/Snapshot"
. That'll put a PNG of the currently visible frame into your "
My Pictures"
folder (well, at least under Windows - dunno where exactly they go in other OSes), which you can then convert to something that's a bit smaller (i.e. JPG) in just about any image editing application...
(Oh yeah, VLC has the added bonus that it doesn't use OS-specific codecs but includes built-in decoders for just about everything in it's executable, which means you don't have to go codec-hunting because a file won't play...)
