Well I was thinking, I really like the brain monster...
But why stop at the normal kind of brain?

Here a couple ideas for other brain-type monsters

Black Brain (why black? im not sure): Makes tar/mud mothers and rochequeens grow/spawn ever 30 turns instead every 60

Blue Brain: Makes all monsters except for blue brains invincable (could also be monsters in a 7x7 square around brain)

White Brain: Gives all monsters the spider invisable technique

Purple Brain: Makes all monsters look like other monsters (doesnt affect tar/mud mothers)

Yellow Brain: Gives all monsters 'flying ability' (doesn't affect seeps).

Gray Brain: Monsters can walk though walls

The color scheme is changable

Are you sure you didn't get that the wrong way round?
Blue Brain: Makes all monsters except for blue brains invincable (could also be monsters in a 7x7 square around brain)
Ugh...
White Brain: Gives all monsters the spider invisable technique
UGH!
Purple Brain: Makes all monsters look like other monsters (doesnt affect tar/mud mothers)
AUGH!!1
Yellow Brain: Gives all monsters 'flying ability' (doesn't affect seeps).

Gray Brain: Monsters can walk though walls
The pain! The PAIN! My BRAIN hurts! The sandpaper, it does nothing!!1!eleven

In other words - I'm not exactly thrilled by these suggestions...

(Also, you forgot sharksbrain mothers with freaking LASER BEAMS on their, uh, heads... :lol)

Briareos don't be cynical, you'll scare him ;). It is to exaggerated :). The brain which teleports monsters next to you, it'd be ok, but Laser? How can you? :P

Ok, ok :).

Well, to be honest I agree with him. The ideas are bad. They really don't bring too much to the whole game :).

Occasionally, a fellow posts a thread so insightful that all threads before it merely quiver in the wave of obscelence left in its wake.

This is not that thread.

Generally, something that just outright changes the rules of DROD should be done in moderation.

A series of brains that do different things isn't really useful for this purpose. Pink brains are basically the limit of how far you'd want to go with it.

Now, let's stuff all of those into a single room. Invisible, invincible, wallwalking, flying serpents! I must say, that sounds like something no other puzzle game has ever done before. Just what could go wrong with that high level of originality?
:)

Rather imagine horde of roaches and in it horde of goblin-roaches, few rattlesnake-roaches (XD) and a bit of serpent-roaches XD.

ANd Canadian Army don't worry :). People here have strange mind deviations when it comes to the not good ideas. Or maybe that's just me?

Nah, such mistakes can be deadly. Yup, even 'till today I feel bad for what I've said during one of the discussion about UU. (Sorry again Michtro *confused a bit*)

But don't worry ;).

That's actually the title of the novel I'm writing. Please try not to spoil anything else about it?

I'm sorry to bring the bad news, but someone already stole your novel and made a movie out of it. And they don't even mention you in the credits!

Its not your fault, its the new "player's brain", which when present in a room spawns bomb queen queens, wall mothers, and goblin marriage counselors (when a goblin marriage counselor is near two goblins, a goblin baby appears in each square near the goblin designated as female (which is determined by movement order), but only on spawn cycles starting with 'R'). :spamlaser
