April 2005 - The Secret
Knowing that people would be playing the hot-off-the-press DROD: Journey to Rooted Hold game, Erik didn't even dare trying to pry it from their hands. Instead, he gave them a puzzle that was hidden inside the game itself and was staring every single player in the face as they played the game. Players were given five clues, all of which are listed below, and had to decode them to get an answer. The clues were as follows:
The secret is found inside of DROD: Journey to Rooted Hold.
The secret is not found while playing the game itself.
The secret is something that you see on the screen without doing anything special.
The secret is shown in plain view on the title screen.
The secret is a message written on the border stones, which requires decoding.
