Breaking News

Not only does the new menu look a lot snazzier than the older one, but it also functions as a news reader, allowing you to read the latest news in the DROD Universe without ever having to leave the game!

Architects' Delight

While not all of us may be able to break into the top ten of the high score table, almost every member of the community has created their own level set, or hold, and distributed it to the community. With a simple interface, it's easy to make a complex set of rooms that anyone can enjoy.

Living Sculpture

While the new rock golems may seem like dumb, stupid, and easy-to-beat creatures, the fact that they will occupy the square you killed them in after death means that Beethro will have to be careful in planning how to kill the buggers. Or, if Beethro felt so inclined, he could take up a career in modern art.

Whispering Walls

Unlike all of the other monsters in the game, seeps live inside the walls, meaning that Beethro won't be able to put his back safely against a wall unless he gets it properly checked out first.

Deadly Tails

Beethro's entire perspective of snakes changes as soon as he meets his first Rattlesnake. Not only is their weak spot their tails, but they are able to go over force arrows as well. In this room, Beethro needs to make sure he is able to access the snake's tail without trapping himself.

Stick In The Mud

As much as Beethro hates tar, I'm pretty sure that the combination of that and The Awakened Mud would be enough to drive him over the edge. Luckily for him, he's just two moves away from killing the mother and finishing up this room.

Worse Than The IRS

One of the many new features of the new DROD engine is the scripting service, which allows architects to create full storylines to accompany their holds. Voice acting is also a possibility as well (The lines in the main hold are all spoken, but unfortunately this picture can't speak a thousand words).
