What about other hold related media as it appears (and if there's support for it in custom holds at a future date) e.g. music, sounds, tile art, alternative creature graphics, new Beethro fashion statements, and so on?
Hmm. Howbout...
For media/customizations geared towards a specific hold, they can go here. The .hold format can also be expected to evolve to support inclusion of other media inside of it.
Otherwise, "
general"
.
And would the architecture board be a place to discuss hold related hints, tips, requests, build challenges and so on, even if they're not specifically related to a hold that has been released for play testing/feedback?
Build challenges and any general discussion about making holds can go here. Discussion related to just playing a hold (hints/challenges) is iffy...
After an author releases a hold, then hints and challenges for it should go in the other boards. I think authors ought to use "
Architecture"
for finishing up their holds and then just release the holds, instead of using the board for updates on a perpetual work-in-progress. Still, it's not something to make rules about. Also, no big deal if people want to post hints and challenges here for a hold under development.
Sheesh. I've already written too much about this. Let's just keep to the spirit and not worry about the letter. Later on we can clear up things and make rules if we need to.
