So, the SS CD finaly arived, and I thought I would like to hear the audio theatre. Only I donīt have a program to play .ogg files, but I tried to open them with DivX player anyway. Stupid, stupid, since the stupid windows seems to think that .ogg files should be played with DivX even when I play DROD. My sound have dissapeared when playing DROD, and I really, really hope that I donīt have to re install the game or something like that. Help!

Never mind. The problem got solved by deliting the .ogg file (for some strange reason). But I would still like to listen to the files on my SS CD :|

Audacity is an audio editor and recorder, but should work just as well to play OGG Vorbis files.

and if you download the mp3 codex from their site, you can convert the ogg to mp3, thus making it alot easier to get to.

Sorry, but this is a horrible, horrible idea, unless you have a really good reason to do it. Both Ogg Vorbis and mp3 are lossy formats. Compressing a lossy-encoded sound file with another lossy codec will seriously degrade quality unless you use much higher bitrates (and even then there will be degradation).

If you want easier Vorbis access without quality degradation, go here and download the DirectShow filter, or one of the players listed there.

You might want to give Foobar2000 a try - it'll play almost anything and then some, and doesn't suffer from all the Bloathingness many other audio players have acquired lately...
