I was playing Sams Puzzles v0.101, had completed the three rooms, and descended the stairs on the second level. I pressed a key and got a crash to desktop. This was repeatable. Just leaving Beethro to descend the stairs on his own, I completed the hold as normal a couple of times. I tried a few more times, and now I get a crash to desktop every time I descend the second staircase.

Just a problem with this hold, or a more general issue? I've only played a couple of holds so far with build28.

That has happened to me on that hold in every build. I think it's the hold rather than the program.

Argh...I noticed this happening here on build 27 and thought it was fixed in build 28. I think it's fixed for build 29.

Its not specific to that hold. The Ketchup and Puppies one did it too.
