Returning from 1S2W, the scripted purple "statue" blocks me from going back, and I'm stuck in the west entrance.

I don't recall being stuck here on my first playthrough, has something changed?

No guesses as to cause, but it's not just you. I have an old save at the start of 1S2W that allows me to go east (either before or after completing 1S2W), but if I load my save from 1S1W and go west, the statue returns and I can't get back either.

(If anyone else is going to experiment, back up your data files first -- it's easy to overwrite them with potentially unsolvable states, especially if you try things like exiting 1S1W without clearing it.)

There seems to a bug on newer versions that breaks this room.

I tried this on Steam and got the same thing, but didn't have any issues on 5.1.0

I can make a new bug thread, since I already did some investigating.
