In the Modify link under Profile, there's a field that says Avatar. Pick an image to be your avatar. Then type in the location (online or offline) of the image. Make it small, like 60x60.

Actually you have to make it exactly 60x60. Anything else gets scaled by the browser and looks bad.

I like it that way, by the way. Makes all the avatars the same size. Except mine, of course

I'm still at a loss I typt in the path(c:\\...ect.) and when I hit submit in the avatar portion it shows a blank square with an X in it.
The picture is a .tif & 60x60 pixles and the path is correct,
WWWWWWWWwwwwwwwAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that at the moment there is only support for off-site linking of avatars - so you need to upload them somewhere on the internet and then give the URL. You can't use files on your hard-disk.

Oh yeah, that too...I was so distracted by the sheer randomness that I forgot to mention that. I just recently bugged Schik about enabling the avatar uploading, so perhaps just wait for a little while if you can't upload it to another website.

eytanz is right - at the moment, you can only link off-site.

And Onei - it's not quite as simple as just enabling the feature - the feature doesn't exist and will have to be written.

Oh, I understand, Schik...I didn't mean enabling in the easy sense, but in the "allowing us to be able to do it" sense.

So, yeah, perhaps a better choice of words would have been...better. :buh
