Alright, I'm playing the new demo and here's what I see:
Level 1

×Secret rooms: Some of the speech scripting doesnt happen as fast as the doors open.
1W: The cracked walls make the eye part easy to beat without mimics, but I like using the mimic potions as cover to help beat the roaches. Is there a middle ground? Try removing the cracked walls, they're unnecessary.
1N: Too trivial. Maybe you could add some hack'n'slash to get to the fuse?
2N 1W: You can still beat the level easily from the bottom right corner which makes the scripting elements stupid! Put a wall in that corner and it will be much more obvious that the only plausible way to win is the cracked walls. Maybe add another NPC to guide you a bit? Unless it's there as a guide, that piece of wall near the cracked walls looks kind of mismatched and out of place.
2N 2W: Very easy, don't even need the scripting. As a matter of fact, the speech scripting doesnt even finish by the time I leave the room. Tip: If you're doing speech scripting, maybe sure its not something trivial like a tutorial.
3N 1E: Can be beaten from the side you enter from rather easily, so the scripting doesn't make much sense.
Level 2:

×1W: The speech 'Whats up?' comes after the character is robbed, but it should come before that.
2W: I was able to bypass the whole of 2W by going down below the door before it was closed and taking the route the NPC takes into the next room. Tsk tsk...
3W: When he says 'Just don't use the orb!' he's right! Although you can be retarded and fight him harder later on, he'll just wait up in that corner for you and you can kill him there. End of room!

×1N 2W: What's with you and hack'n'slash puzzles? The brain was a good addition but you're lacking creativity now since there's just killing with no plot.
1N 1W: More tedious senseless killing.
1N: Kill me! I am so sick of pressing Z and C repeatedly! Seriously, if you're too lazy to make a decent room that you must just fill with roaches, cut your hold off at level 2.
1N 1E: A tedious boring run around door open room. Yup. Boring.
1N 2E: Trivial and takes too long.
2E: Trivial but not too long so OK.
1E: Fun little minipuzzle but I don't understand the storyline aspect of it.
1S: What the hell! That's unnecessary but I guess it's funny/cool?

The Hold of Knowledge is a hold I'm working on with a lot of scripting elements that piece together some great puzzles for ya. Check out the tester versions!
