icon Can we look at JtRH in the level editor? (+1)  
I've finished JtRH (100% of the Dreamplane), but the level editor
still has "Journey to Rooted Hold" grayed out. I think I read somewhere that it is possible to examine JtRH in the editor.
If so, what do I need to do to make it "edit-able"? If not, please tell me.

By the way, DROD 2.0.x is marvellous, in both the literal and common meanings of that word, and CaravelNet enhances the game way beyond my expectations. (Although the satellite-based internet connection I am using makes for some interesting delays ... but it's still quite useable.) So: thanks, guys. :thumbsup

I'm afraid not. Seeing as the hold is what you pay for etc, they don't really want people being able to play around with it.

Fair enough.

I'll just have to find another 2.0 hold with interesting scripting, solve it :? and look at it.

Schep said that he made his hold, Pelcho's Puzzles, as EDIT BY ANYONE. It should have quite a bit of scripting to look over.

Wouldn't it be nice if some ambitious person made a SCRIPTING DEMO hold? It would be editable by anyone and would have examples of doing common things like "This message appears when you enter a room."

I could make one but I don't know if there's enough interest for that kind of thing. After all, there's already quite a bit documentation about using different scrips.

Yeah... the closest you can get to editing JtRH is if you had a copy of the 2.00 demo, as that was editable. I still have it, if I recall, but I warn you now that I am not offering it to anyone, so do not ask me for it.

With that dislaimer out of the way, I do agree with Doom to check out schep's scripting guide, as it is very thourough.
