I did everything, including that annoying 3S 1W room or whatever it was, and then I went north and it said EXIT but after I walk up to that nothing happens... I tried going back to every room and I can't find the way out?

Yes, you choose the level, then the room, then you click submit. If it's a JtrH room you're talking about, you need to buy the game to post about those holds.
