Hi all. Love the hold so far... but what am I missing here?

Yes, I've seen the clue in the room to the south of this.
I've seemingly tried all sorts of combinations - I just hope I haven't made a fool out of myself by making a mistake on the correct one!

I tried every combination of the 1x1, 2x2, 3x3 boxes with the right orbs hit in the 4x4 and 5x5 boxes. I tried them in order of size... in REVERSE order of size... even both ways round missing out the 1x1 orb...

Please tell me, am I being particularly dense here? lol Been trying for days now :~(

Am I right in thinking that the clues in the top three rooms relate to another level? (by the way, what IS the answer to the top left room?? lol)

I guessed that might be the point, but still never figured that one out. In this order: I solved the middle one, thought "Yeah, I figured that much", exited this level, restored back and solved the east one, gave up on the west one figuring it said something just as useless.

Maybe the fact that I didn't need these riddle puzzles could be a slight clue. If so, go for it.

Yes, the riddles are all optional. They're just there so if someone gets stuck on the main puzzle they have another option to help.

Word/orb puzzles don't seem to be my strength (nor interest).

I solved the middle riddle.
Ok, I solved the left one also.

I see the hint in 2W1S.

I see the numbers 1-8 in the other rooms.
The theme seems to be squares.

Yet, I can not solve this orb puzzle.

ok, think i got it now.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could PM me or post more hints.

and I figured out the answer to the middle riddle, but then I'm utterly stuck. I've tried all sorts of answers to the left riddle--it's what cryptic solvers would call a deletion clue--but haven't been able to crack it. As for the riddle on the right...well, no luck.

Would anyone mind sending me a hint, a spoiler, anything?

I'm completely stuck. I've read all the clues available in this thread, tried lots of combination and still can't figure the either the main riddle or the ones in the north. Some more help please?

Edit: OK, I found the answer to the main riddle. Still can't find answers to 2N 1W and 2N. (don't need them obviously, but i'm curious)

I like this hold, but now I hate it. Its not possible for me to finished this level, because my english is very bad. I know only few words and I have to use always the dictionary. But here, I am overstrained. Can somebody tell me the solution for this room, please?

I'm still stuck on this level I've solved left and middle clues in north. I've figured which orbs to hit and by using the number clues in the rooms thought i had the order. but it doesn't work. The order I thought it was

I don't believe I ever figured out the riddle here (the hints didn't sink in for me and I wasn't getting anywhere). What I did was use an orb solver program I picked up from
here (scroll down to micthro's entry on 4/3/2006 to find the app).

Sorry I don't have anything better to offer (like a demo or the meaning of this room's riddle).
