How do I backup my DROD saved game? I really don't wantto start all over from the beginning!!!

On the title screen of DROD, click Who. (or this appears when you first load it up). Click your name, then click export. This will export your player file to your computer, with which you can either back it up or move it to another computer.

Well, wait, I think there is a little caveat. In your new installation of DROD, you need to import all the holds that you have saved games for before you import the players, otherwise all the saved games will be lost. For King Dugan's Dungeon this isn't a problem, since it comes with the installation, but if you've played any user-made holds then you need to install them first. If you've already gone through the process you can just do it again correctly, as long as you didn't delete your player file or anything.

Also, if you're using version 1.6.5 of the Linux client, you should upgrade the executable to 1.6.6 before exporting, because there's a nasty export bug in 1.6.5 that may corrupt your data.
