The colour state is actually stored as it gets set correctly when you walk into the room, but while it is in the preview state, the state is not picked up.

This also applies sometimes when right-clicking a room on the minimap directly. I'm not sure why it's only sometimes, but maybe it depends on whether the room has been visited or not?
