The Descent of King Hesper : Guards' Barracks : 2 North, 2 East (0)

I've got 1 guard alive and 2 roaches stuck in the south force arrow, is that correct? If so, can someone give me guidance on how to force the guard onto the arrow?

Guards will not step on a force arrow as long as they can work out a path to you. In this room such efforts will be futile as the guard can always hunt you down.
